Ninety new cases. Last week he had new infections in 13 of the 19 municipalities of the Intermunicipal Community of the Coimbra Region (CIM-RC). Penacova continues to be the most dramatic case with a growth of 32%, with 21 new cases. Only Coimbra, at 23, had more new infections this week.
According to the Epidemiological Situation Report in Portugal, released this Monday by the General Health Directorate, the other cases of more or less concern in the CIM-RC this week were Cantanhede, with 13 new cases, and Montemor-o-Velho, with 10.
Figueira da Foz and Miranda do Corvo had four cases each; Soure, Vila Nova de Poiares and Oliveira do Hospital added three more cases; Condeixa-a-Nova and Tábua had two cases each and Lousã and Arganil added a new entry in the count.
Only the municipalities of Góis, Mealhada, Mira, Mortágua, Pampilhosa da Serra and Penela were “blank” in the last seven days.
