The area of the Intermunicipal Community of the Coimbra Region (CIM-RC) exceeded, this Monday, the two thousand cases of infected, accumulated figures since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to the bulletin issued by the General Directorate of Health, which updates weekly the distribution of cases by municipalities, in the last seven days, 182 cases were registered in the 19 municipalities of the CIM-RC.
Percentage, the worst counties were Mira, which increased by 27%, with seven more cases, Figueira da Foz (22%, plus 29) and Mealhada (20%, plus 11).
In absolute terms, Coimbra increased 85 cases. Figueira da Foz, with 29 and Cantanhede, with 18, closed the top-3 of counties with the most incidents.
Arganil, Lousã, Pampilhosa da Serra and Vila Nova de Poiares were the only municipalities in which there were no changes in the last week.
There are currently 2,084 infected in the CIM-RC. Only in the municipality of Coimbra 981 were registered (47% of the total).
