Three people were killed and several injured in a knife attack near a church in the city of Nice, France, on Thursday morning. According to information advanced by Sputniknews, The attack took place next to the basilica of Notre-Dame and the suspect were already detained by authorities shortly after.
The same source said shots were heard in the city center around 9 am (8 am in Lisbon). The mayor of the city, Christian Estrosi, advanced through the social network Twitter, that this will be a terrorist attack. French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron said he would be there before lunchtime.
