A hacker recently released details of 20 million users of the Aptoide app store (targeting Android devices). The data, published on a well-known hacking forum, was obtained after an attack that occurred earlier this month.

The information that has been published, for which the ZDNet channel has obtained a copy, contains information about the users who registered or used the Aptoide store application between July 21, 2016 and January 28, 2018.

Recently released data can be classified as "personally identifiable information" that includes details such as the user's email address, password hash, name, enrollment date, enrollment IP address, device details and date of birth.
