The fall of a heavy vehicle on an A23 viaduct, in the Vila Velha de Ródão area, caused the death of the only occupant of the truck on Monday, the Castelo Branco District Relief Operations Command confirmed to Radio Observador.
The victim was a man in his 40s who was incarcerated. Death was confirmed on the spot.
The accident occurred at kilometer 94 in the South / North direction and the alert was given at 10:32 am, with the firefighters of Vila Velha de Ródão, Proença-a-Nova and Castelo Branco and other authorities mobilized to a local. total of 39 operations and 13 vehicles.
After the investigation, traffic was conditioned in the right lane, a situation that continued around 1:40 p.m.
