The Government abandoned the most restrictive measures for the Christmas period but not for the New Year. Between midnight on December 31 and 5:00 am on January 4, circulation between municipalities is prohibited; circulation on public roads will also be restricted.
During the Christmas season, movement between municipalities is allowed and restaurants can operate until 1:00 am on the nights of December 24 and 25. These are just a few examples of the measures taken in the coming days. Check out the rest here.
Measurements for the Christmas period
Circulation
– On December 23, 24, 25 and 26, circulation between municipalities is allowed;
– On the night of December 23-24, circulation on public roads is only allowed for those who travel;
– On December 24 and 25, circulation on public roads is allowed until 2:00 am the next day;
– On December 26, circulation on public roads is allowed until 11:00 p.m.
Restaurant hours
– Restaurants can operate the nights of December 24 and 25 until 1:00 am;
– On the 26th the opening hours are until 15:30 in the municipalities of very high and extreme risk (see list HERE).
Measurements for the new year period
Circulation
– Between 00:00 hours on December 31 and 5:00 hours on January 4, circulation between municipalities is prohibited;
– On December 31, circulation on public roads is prohibited from 11 pm;
– On December 1, 2 and 3, circulation on public roads is prohibited from 1:00 p.m. Both this measure and the previous one apply to the entire continental territory.
Restaurant opening hours and other restrictions
– On December 31st, restaurants can be open until 10:30 pm;
– On January 1, 2 and 3, restaurants can be open until 1:00 p.m. After that time, the food must be delivered to your home (take away food service);
– Public parties or parties open to the public are prohibited;
– Roundabouts with more than six people are also prohibited.
