Regarding the Aveiro district, Santa Maria da Feira registered more than double the percentage increase in Ovar (70 new cases in the space of a week, that is, 9% more), a municipality than in the so-called first wave of the pandemic It was the first municipality completely closed to the entry and exit of people, through a sanitary fence that lasted from March 17 to April 17.
