The João Lobo Antunes Institute of Molecular Medicine of the University of Lisbon is the entity that scientifically coordinates the national covid-19 serovial panel, which aims, with the use of 12 thousand volunteers, to study the prevalence of respiratory infection in Portugal through tests serological.

Volunteers were able to register on the indicated website starting at 00:00 today.

Serological tests (taking a blood sample that allows the detection of antibodies against the coronavirus that causes covid-19 disease) will be carried out, free of charge for volunteers, until October 7 at 314 collection points of the Laboratory Medicine Center Germano de Sousa, a partner company, and covers all the country’s districts, including the islands, in a total of 102 counties.
