The Ministry of Health said in a statement that this page provides all the information on vaccination through “simple and clear language” answering the main questions that have been raised since the announcement of the arrival of the vaccine in Portugal.

“Is the vaccine effective?”, “Is the vaccine safe?”, “What are the different types of vaccines that will be administered in Portugal?” What are the priority groups? These are some examples of the questions asked and that the Portuguese can now see answered on the portal.

“In addition to the answer to these more general questions, there is also an area on this new page – FAQ`s – where you can find clarification on more specific aspects such as side effects of vaccines or what to do after getting vaccinated”, says the Ministry of Health.

Among the main highlights of the page, there is a simulation that the user can complete to know when he will be called by the NHS for vaccination.

In addition to this tool, contacts and help lines are also available and should be used by citizens who want to know more about the vaccination process.

The new page, which had already been announced by the coordinator of the working group responsible for the preparation of the Vaccination Plan against Covid-19, Francisco Ramos, is available on the website of the Directorate General of Health and on the Government website ” We are On “(https://covid19.min-saude.pt/vacinacao/) and (https://covid19estamoson.gov.pt/vacinacao-covid19/).

Throughout 2021, the page, which was designed by the Government in close coordination with the working group, the DGS and the Shared Services of the Ministry of Health, will have regular updates on the execution of the vaccination campaign, as well as other important news and information provided by the working group, referred to in the release.
