This Wednesday, the health authorities of the Bragança district registered 15 more cases of contagion of the new coronavirus, in addition to the four deaths of users of the houses of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Bragança, who were hospitalized in the hospital of the district capital after that they tested positive last week.
The four women who died, ages 78 to 95, were among the approximately 100 infected users, although the vast majority are asymptomatic.
In the last 24 hours, there are 15 more confirmed cases. 12 in the municipality of Bragança, distributed throughout the city, and in the parishes of Samil, São Pedro de Serracenos, União de Freguesia de Aveleda and Rio de Onor.
The municipality of Vinhais also registered two new cases, in Vilar Seco de Lomba and the other positive case was registered in Mirandela. He is a 51-year-old man, who had some symptoms and after traveling to the Mirandela emergency hospital, he ended up testing positive and was admitted, just in case.
So far, the district has counted, in seven months, 899 cases of the new coronavirus. There are 521 recovered. The number of deaths has risen to 33, 345 remain with active disease.
Bragança has 211 cases (approximately half in the homes of the holy house). The municipality of Vimioso has 44 cases still active. Macedo de Cavaleiros and Freixo de Espada à Cinta have 22. The municipality of Mirandela now has 13 active cases (8 in Aguieiras and 5 in the city). Vinhais now counts 10 active cases of the disease. Mogadouro has 9. Torre de Moncorvo has 7. Vila Flor, Carrazeda de Ansiães and Miranda do Douro have 1 box.
There are four imported cases. 2 from Lisbon. 1 from Madrid and another from Ponte de Lima.
