Covid-19: Portugal with 102 deaths and 7,502 new cases

Portugal registered 102 more deaths in the last 24 hours and 7,502 new cases of covid-19, according to the daily bulletin of the General Directorate of Health (DGS) this Sunday.

The new figures bring the number of confirmed cases to 483,689 since the pandemic was registered in Portugal and to 7,803 the number of deaths.

There is a drop of 111 deaths and 9,478 new cases from Saturday’s report, but deaths remain above 100 for the third day in a row.

There are currently 3,770 hospitalizations (plus 215), the highest number to date, and 18 more intensive care patients, for a total of 558, also a record number.

There are more than 3,028 recovered, a total of 369,108 people cured since panemia began. There are another 4,372 active cases (a total of 106,778).

Lisbon and Vale do Tejo is the region with the most registered cases, 2,752, followed by the North region, with 2,600, Center, with 1,362, Alentejo, with 373, Algarve, with 285, Madeira, with 67, and Azores, with 63.

There are 39 more deaths recorded in Lisbon and Vale do Tejo, 27 in the north, 25 in the center, seven in the Alentejo and four in the Algarve. In the archipelagos of Madeira and the Azores, no new deaths were recorded.

40-49 years: a man
50-59 years: one man and two women
60-69 years: four men and two women
70-79 years: 17 men and six women
Over 80 years: 34 men and 35 women
