As RC reported yesterday, a positive case of COVID-19 was confirmed in the house of Santa Casa da Misericórdia in Vila Viçosa as well as at the Bencatel Day Center, where the positive case of an employee of the Institution was confirmed.
This situation has meant that, as Jorge Rosa, declared in statements to Rádio Campanário, yesterday afternoon, the 60 users and 48 employees of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia house in Vila Viçosa were tested for COVID-19,
As the institution’s provider, Jorge Rosa, has just informed RC, and according to the information provided by the Public Health Authority, 13 positive cases have already been confirmed, namely: 2 users of the Vila Viçosa Nursing Home, and the remaining 11 cases take place in the Bencatel Day Center, which includes the employee, already reported yesterday, and now the rest of the members of her household.
As for the two users of the Vila Viçosa Residence for the Elderly, they are already isolated.
The remaining results are expected to be known tomorrow.
