There are 198 Portuguese educational establishments that, as of this Tuesday, October 13, have registered cases of Covid-19, regardless of whether they are active or not.

The list (which you can consult here) is published by the National Federation of Teachers (Fenprof) and is constantly updated each time new cases are reported and confirmed.

The number of 198 can even fail by default, since Fenprof “only adds schools / AE that it can unequivocally confirm”.

In the group of schools that have registered at least one case of contagion by the new coronavirus, there are several establishments in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, with emphasis on the city itself with 13, Cascais and Sintra, with eight schools each, Mafra with five, as many as the city of Coimbra. In Porto there are seven educational establishments. In total, the list spans the entire country from north to south and includes public and private schools.
