COVID-19. GNR closes nightlife establishment with more than 100 people – Observer

The Republican National Guard (GNR), through the Territorial Detachment of Felgueiras, closed, on October 16, a nightlife establishment that gathered more than a hundred people, in the parish of Pombeiro, municipality of Felgueiras.

GNR “carried out an inspection action to comply with the regulations related to the Covid-19 pandemic,” the Police reported in a statement, having closed an establishment that operated with live music and brought together 108 people. During the same action, two men, aged 36 and 49, were arrested, for crimes of disobedience and driving under the influence of alcohol.

There were also “several administrative offenses due to non-compliance with the measures imposed by the situation of calamity ”.

The 46-year-old owner of the establishment was identified and the two detainees were charged, with no criminal record. The facts were referred to the Felgueiras Court of Justice.

The action included the reinforcement of the Porto Intervention Detachment.
