At ACES Médio Tejo, 945 people are currently under active surveillance (+35). Ourém has 204 citizens in this condition, followed by Tomar (199), Alcanena (104), Torres Novas (98), Abrantes (89), Entroncamento (86), Sardoal (43), Mação (40), Vila Nova da Barquinha (32), Constância (25) and Ferreira do Zêzere (25).
This ACES registers a cumulative total of 2,756 infected (+77), 1,465 recovered (+248), 945 people on active surveillance (+35) and 39 deaths (with data not yet updated by ACES).
ACES PIS with 10 active cases in Sertã and 1 in Vila de Rei
In ACES do Pinhal Interior Sul (PIS), the municipality of Sertã today has a cumulative total of 79 infected people, 69 of whom have already recovered from the disease, according to ACES PIS. Sertã has 10 active cases and 31 people under active surveillance.
Vila de Rei, in turn, has had a total of 7 cases of contagion since the start of the pandemic, one of which is still active and six people have recovered, ACES PIS reported. Today there were 22 people under active surveillance in this municipality.
Middle Tagus region with a total of 2,843 confirmed cases in the 13 municipalities
With about 250 thousand inhabitants, the 13 municipalities of the Middle Tagus add up to a total of 2,843 cases (+77) confirmed of contagion by the new coronavirus, of which 2,756 in ACES Médio Tejo and 86 in ACES Pinhal Interior Sul (79 in Sertã and 7 in Vila de Rei). There are a total of 1,540 people recovered (1,465 in ACES Médio Tejo, 69 in Sertã and 6 in Vila de Rei (ACES PIS) and 34 deaths.
ACES Médio Tejo covers the territorial area of 11 municipalities with approximately 235 thousand users, and covers the health units of Abrantes, Alcanena, Constância, Entroncamento, Ferreira do Zêzere, Mação, Ourém, Sardoal, Tomar, Torres Novas and Vila nova da Barquinha , in a territorial area of 2,706.10 square kilometers.

Gavião, in turn, today has an accumulated 46 cases of covid (+9), of which 16 people have already recovered from the disease. An outbreak in the home of Santa Casa worries the health authorities, with seven users and 13 positive employees at the institution today, to which another 5 cases are added, all in the relatives of the home professionals. There are 30 active cases in the municipality and no deaths are recorded. Lezíria region with 3,380 cases since the start of the pandemic
Lezíria do Tejo today has 108 new cases, 76 recovered patients and a cumulative total of 3,380 patients, of which 1,218 cases in the municipality of Santarém, according to data from the Regional Network. Today, Chamusca has a total of 130 confirmed cases (+7), including four deaths, and Golegã records 56 infections (+1) and one death.
The Lezíria region has accumulated 84 deaths, 31 of which in Santarém, and 2,611 people recovered from the disease (+76).

Since the start of the pandemic, Portugal has registered 4,056 deaths and 268,721 cases of infection by the new coronavirus, with 80,432 cases already active, 3,572 less than on Monday.
The bulletin also notes that health authorities have 82,160 contacts under surveillance, 135 more than on Monday, and that 7,406 patients were reported to have recovered in the last 24 hours.
