A delay in the communication of the results to the users and employees of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Bragança caused the institution to be informed of the existence of another 17 positive cases, 16 users and one employee.
These cases are added to the 33 known this morning (there were already three more employees and a positive user, as Messenger had already written).
The communication of these new positive results occurred at a time when the institution was already proceeding, as defined this morning with the local health and civil protection authorities, to transfer the 25 users that it considered negative to a hotel in the city.
The users (the majority, after all, were considered positive) were again referred to the institution as soon as the health delegate communicated the new results to those responsible for Santa Casa.
“As the number of users with negative results is much lower, we managed to articulate an internal solution, in a space that we already had reserved and that has capacity for 12 beds,” he explained to the official Messenger source of the Administrative Table.
On the part of IPB, the entity that has been processing the samples collected by ULS Nordeste, the President of the Institution, Orlando Rodrigues, said he was not aware of any anomaly but revealed that “the adequacy of the resizing of the structure in charge of processing the you test the current demand ”.
