Research published by the state newspaper suggests that the new coronavirus was imported into Wuhan.

China, through the state newspaper Global Times, pointed a finger at the exports of frozen products from countries such as Brazil and Australia due to the origin of the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan at the end of last year.

Since the vast majority of scientists reject this thesis, the Chinese newspaper admits that “scientists believe that more evidence is needed to verify this hypothesis.”

It should be noted that since October this theory has been defended by the Chinese government, when officials from the World Health Organization (WHO) went to investigate the origin of the new coronavirus.

In addition to repeatedly mentioning the presence of the virus in imported frozen food packages, state media has also begun to cite scientific studies that say that covid-19 was already circulating in Europe earlier than previously thought.

The Global Times also reports that the Huanan Market in Wuhan, which was said to be the source of the virus, was selling seafood and meats from Brazil and Germany until 2019 and that prior to that year it was selling beef from Australia, cherries from Chile, seafood from Ecuador. , as well as imported meat from Brazil, Canada and Spain.
