Through a statement, Santos announced this Friday that he had received two formal proposals from Lucas Veríssimo. Without revealing the interested parties, the Brazilian emblem revealed that it is a club from Portugal and another from Saudi Arabia. Benfica and Al Nassr, from Rui Vitória, are the candidates to hire the 25-year-old.
Both offers have already been analyzed and approved by the Santos Management Committee and forwarded to the Audit Committee, to then go to the Deliberative Council, which will meet next Tuesday.

The acting president, Orlando Rollo, clarifies that he did not grant an interview to any media in Portugal in reference to the negotiation of the athlete Lucas Veríssimo. The president makes it clear that there are two proposals for the player, one from Arabia and one from Portugal, both analyzed and approved by the Management Committee and sent to the Supervisory Board. And the proposals will be analyzed at the Deliberative Council meeting, on November 17, as required by the Statute of Santos FC respected by the current Management Committee.
