Miguel Oliveira will start from pole position for the Portuguese Grand Prix in Portimão, the ideal place to get his first pole in Moto GP.

The Portuguese rider was seventh when he managed to overtake Franco Morbidelli on the last lap, in the last minute, finishing at 1.38.08.

The Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider dropped Morbidelli at 44 thousandths and Jack Miller at 146 thousandths.

Immediately there was a natural party in the Tech3 boxing -where the pilot’s family was also-, a team that the Portuguese will leave at the end of the season.

He is the seventh different driver to get pole this season.
