The body of a woman between 40 and 50 years old was found by people among the rocks near the Castelo do Queijo beach, in Porto, this Saturday morning.
The captain of the Harbor Master of the Duero and Leixões Ports, Cruz Martins, confirmed to JN that a body was found, this Saturday morning, by people, among the rocks “slightly south” of the Castelo do Queijo beach, in Porto. The group alerted authorities around 9 a.m. Saturday.
According to the captain, it is a woman between 40 and 50 years old, who has not yet been identified. The Maritime Police and the Judicial Police were at the scene to collect items to help carry out an investigation to explain what happened.
After the investigations, the authorities removed the body from that place and transferred it to the Institute of Legal Medicine.
The case now goes to the Public Ministry and the Judicial Police, added Cruz Martins.
