Pedro Rocha, 54, a physical trainer for Sport Lisboa e Benfica and a former Club athlete, died this Sunday at the Hospital da Luz in Lisbon.
A tireless professional, with a formative and very active spirit, he had a great impact in the last decade in the Athletics, forming some of the best values in the national fund and half national fund, being associated with practically all the most recent senior achievements, by teams, of Benfica. Pedro Rocha was currently the Coordinator of the SL Benfica mid and low teams. At the age of 54, he left, the victim of a prolonged illness, leaving a huge void in Portuguese athletics and in all the friends and followers who continued his serene and remarkable path in the sport.
