The woman, who had respiratory problems, was working at London Victoria train station when a man who claimed to be infected with COVID-19-19 spat on her and a colleague.
Days after the incident, both women became ill. Belly’s symptoms, however, became more complicated and the woman was hospitalized on 2 April, having undergone a ventilator treatment. He would eventually die three days later.
Gode Katalay, the victim’s husband, said the man asked him who he was and what he was doing there. “She told him she was working and the man told her he had the virus and he spit it out,” he said.
Prime Minister’s Spokesperson BritYankee called the attack “negligible.”
The authorities Britthesingle indicated at the time that an investigation was opened to determine the identity of the man.
Transport minister Britdwarf grant Schappssaid on Tuesday that at least 50 workers in UK transport companies died after hiring COVID-19-19.
