In a statement, the Portugal League confirmed that June 4 is the date set for the return of the Championship, suspended since March 13 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

«Resumption date of Liga NOS
Last Sunday, DGS issued the technical opinion on the conditions for the return of the Liga NOS to the competition, after the decision of the Government on April 30.
It should be remembered that, on that date, the Executive framed this professional competence as one of the authorized activities for deflation.
In recent days, the various entities have held successive alignment meetings so that the recovery can be carried out safely and with all the protective measures that mitigate the risks of returning to activity, after a phase of inspections. to determine the stadiums that effectively meet the requirements defined in that technical opinion.
It is anticipated that this joint work of DGS, FPF and Liga Portugal will serve as a model for the resumption of other economic activities, with the aim that this professional competence provides an example of the good practices that this pandemic imposes on us.
To ensure that the stadiums are strictly inspected and medical examinations are carried out on all professionals involved in the games and their organization, the date of June 4, 2020 is scheduled for the first match of the 25th round of the NOS League. »»
