BALL – Águilas demand answers from the League (Benfica)

After the refusal of the General Directorate of Health to Benfica’s request that 20 fans could be in the presidential box in this Saturday’s game with Moreirense, the incarnated ones issued a new statement demanding clear and unequivocal answers from the League of Clubs .

It is recalled that the League had pointed to point 2.6 of the Recovery Plan to justify the refusal, something that the incarnated now see again to question.

Here is the statement:

«In light of the response given this afternoon by the Portugal League, which is not very enlightening and in which it seems to be playing with words and playing with clubs, Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD requests clarification and unambiguously the following clarifications: questions for the management of the Portuguese League:

1 – According to point 2.6 (Tribunes and Boxes) mentioned in said Regulations, clubs may or may not occupy up to 50% of the seats in the presidential boxes, which in the case of Benfica means 92 seats

2 – Does this rule have the agreement of the General Directorate of Health or not?

It is these specific questions that lack direct and simple answers, without subterfuges or omissions, in the name of the necessary transparency of the procedures ”.
