The third case refers to a 25-year-old woman, also a non-resident, coming from an air connection with the American continent, who carried out a screening test before boarding with a negative result and whose test carried out from the sixth day gave a result. positive.

A 39-year-old female and three males, aged between 18 and 37, were recovered, bringing the number of cases recovered in the Region to 211.

So far, 329 cases of infection by the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus have been detected in the Region, with 59 positive cases currently active, of which 30 on São Miguel Island, 12 on Terceira Island, three on the Graciosa Island, five on Pico Island, five on Faial Island, one on São Jorge Island, two on Santa María Island and one on Flores Island.
