Azores registers 40 new positive cases and 95 recoveries

On the island of São Miguel, of the 20 new positive cases, 11 are related to previously identified transmission chains and nine cases have yet to be evaluated.

So far, there are 403 active positive cases, 294 in São Miguel and 109 in Terceira Island.

To date, 1,589 cases of infection with the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which causes Covid-19 disease, have been detected, with 21 deaths and 1,080 recoveries.
