Autumn on the prowl? Next week brings rain and a drop in temperature

According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), the beginning of the fortnight will also be marked by the return of the rains, accompanied by a decrease in the maximum temperature.

If for this weekend, 12 and 13 September, the predicted temperatures remain, in Lisbon, 35ºC and 30ºC, respectivelyAs of Monday, the thermometers will drop in the capital to 27ºC, keeping the rest of the week at 25ºC and with rain forecast.

In the south, in the Algarve, the rain will arrive days later, on Thursday, varying the maximum expected temperature between 24ºC and 26ºC.

In the north, the IPMA They point to the rain starting on Monday and continuing throughout the week. The maximum temperatures in this district should be between 24ºC at the beginning of the week and 22ºC at the end.

An identical scenario in practically the entire national territory, including the autonomous communities where rainfall is expected during the next week. Before that, remember that the mainland is on alert until 11:59 pm on Sunday due to the risk of fire caused by the heat.
