The Food and Economic Safety Authority (ASAE) today instituted eight administrative procedures for infringement, as part of an operation, aimed at shopping centers and department stores, to oversee the measures imposed by the state of emergency, said that entity.

ASAE, in actions carried out this Saturday, “supervised the new measures imposed by the State of Emergency in the context of the pandemic caused by the covid-19 disease, aimed mainly at economic operators inserted in shopping centers and large commercial areas, places that, for their influx of public, require special monitoring ”.

In a statement released today, ASAE states that in these inspection actions, “as an operational result, there are 48 economic operators audited with 8 administrative infraction processes, highlighting as the main infraction the non-compliance with the rules of repopulation, occupation, permanence and distance physics in commercial establishments ”.

These actions, in which about 35 field inspectors participated, “had as main objectives the verification of the regulations applicable to hypermarkets, supermarkets, large establishments, restaurants and related sectors, in order to guarantee full compliance with the measures issued in compliance with the regulations. capacity, occupation, permanence and physical distance in spaces and establishments, among others ”.

ASAE guarantees that it will continue “to carry out inspection actions within the scope of its competences, throughout the national territory, to guarantee compliance with the public health standards determined by the pandemic situation.”
