POrtugal reported yesterday, Saturday, another 849 new cases of infection and five more deaths of the new coronavirus. That daily increase is one of the highest since the beginning of the pandemic, in March, and seems to confirm a trend of increasing cases of contagion that is occurring throughout Europe.
Portugal has already registered 1,899 deaths and 68,025 people have already obtained positive results for the new coronavirus.
A pandemic of COVID-19-19 has already caused at least 953,025 deaths and more than 30.5 million cases of infection in 196 countries and territories.
