Miguel Oliveira (Tech3 KTM) finished the third free practice session of the GP of Aragon with the eleventh best combined time, one tenth to guarantee a place among the top 10 fastest that marks the direct passage to the second qualifying session.
In a free practice session marked by low temperatures and falls, Miguel Oliveira completed 18 laps at the Motorland circuit, having completed his best time in 1m48.754s, to finish 0.101s of the fastest of the combined table, Maverick Viñales (Yamaha ).
The Spanish Yamaha rider, who did not improve his best record achieved in Friday’s second free practice, finished ahead of Franco Morbidelli (SRT Yamaha), the fastest on the track this Saturday morning, and his teammate. Fabio Quartararo’s team.
In this way, the Portuguese Tech3 KTM rider will have to go through the first qualifying session, where only the two fastest will guarantee the passage to Q2.
The session was marked by the crash of Fabio Quartararo (SRT Yamaha) at Turn 14, lowering the championship leader on a stretcher and being transferred to the circuit medical center.
