Every quarter we get data on the world’s best-selling smartphones. And this time only three brands are in the top ten: Apple, Xiaomi and Samsung.
Apple is the lady and queen of the first places. It has the best-selling smartphone between July and September of this year: the iPhone 11, which had more than 16 million units sold according to Canalys.
The 10 best-selling smartphones in the third quarter of 2020
The second is the iPhone SE, with more than 10 million units sold. This smartphone brought the brand to lower prices, costing just € 499 in Portugal. You can see here the review of my colleague Filipe Alves, this is his personal smartphone.
Out of the top two places, we have a list made up only of mid / low-end smartphones from Samsung and Xiaomi. As soon as the Galaxy A21s appears in third place, around 10 million units were also shipped. Galaxy A11 and A51 follow.
The first Xiaomi model to appear on the list is the Redmi Note 9, in sixth place. Followed by Redmi 9, Galaxy A31, Redmi 9A and Galaxy A01 Core to close the list.
It should be remembered that Samsung was the manufacturer that sold the most worldwide during this period. And when we see that he puts four teams here, it’s no wonder. But on two devices alone, Apple sold more than 26 million units.
