This Monday, the Portuguese Association of Soccer Referees (APAF) showed its deep displeasure at the various criticisms directed at the refereeing teams, in particular by Sporting, on the performance of Luís Godinho in the Famalicão match, in the last meetings of professional competitions, having already filed a complaint with the Disciplinary Council (CD).

In a note published on social networks, the organization says “repudiate the language used by various agents” of Portuguese football, whose main objective is to point “to the performance of the referees, with successive tests of competence, recognized in Portugal and Europe”, pointing out by the duality of their criteria when they are harmed or benefited.

“It is in this environment of total irresponsibility and selfishness, of people who scream when they feel harmed and shut up when they benefit, that football lives,” he says.
