The mayor of Guimarães, Domingos Bragança, determined this Sunday the temporary suspension of the shows scheduled for all the cultural facilities of the municipality, the mayor said in a statement.
The directive will remain in force “until the Municipal Civil Protection, in which the health and safety authorities have a seat, after having listened to the entities that manage the municipal teams that host shows, conclude the measures to be taken,” said Domingos Bragança .
The position was taken “in front of news and images” about a show of live comedy how blogger Ana García Martins (also known as A Pipoca Mais Doce) and the comedians Nilton and Hugo Sousa, held in Multiusos de Guimarães, who suggested despite the health safety rules associated with Covid-19.

The municipality of Guimarães, in the Braga district, registers 1,417 confirmed cases of Covid-19 infection, according to data from the General Health Directorate reported on Saturday.
