In other words, whoever goes to work for a neighboring municipality or for a municipality that is in the same Metropolitan Area does not need to request a statement from the employer, something that will only be necessary in other cases – outside the metropolitan areas of Lisbon and Porto and where the person goes to work for a municipality that does not border on his.
The government resolution does not define the terms in which the citizen assumes this honorable commitment.
