Pepê transfer contributes about 6 million euros to a Brazilian club … inactive – Brazil

Foz do Iguaçu owns 30% of the economic rights of the extreme that will strengthen FC Porto in 2022

The transfer of Pepê, the Brazilian winger from Grémio, to FC Porto will help rebuild Foz do Iguaçu economically. The modest Brazilian club holds 30 percent of the economic rights of the player who was announced this Thursday as the first of the dragons for next year, for a sum of 15 million euros.

In total, Foz do Iguaçu is preparing to receive 30% of the transfer of its former player (4.9 million euros) trained in the club’s schools between 2014 and 2016 and 1% related to the solidarity mechanism of FIFA (around of 980 thousand euros). The latter amount will be charged to FC Porto. The most unusual thing in this case is that Foz do Iguaçu has not competed in any competition since 2019, when it was relegated from the Paranaense Championship, remaining inactive ever since.
