Sporting is very close to signing Paulinho.
The Sp. Braga striker is full for Alvalade, and the transfer should be permanently closed this Monday morning. At this point, and from what has been learned, the details have yet to be finalized, and everything points to the Portuguese international becoming Ruben Amorim’s reinforcement for the second half of the season in the next few hours.
Paulinho should travel to Lisbon this Monday, if nothing extraordinary happens, to do the necessary medical examinations and sign a contract valid until June 30, 2025.
As could be known, Cristián Borja continues in the opposite direction to Paulinho, who moves permanently to Braga. The Colombian is going to sign for four and a half years with Sp. Braga and must report to Minho this Monday to do the medical tests and sign.
In addition to Borja, Sporting pays between 12 and 15 million euros to Sp. Braga, and the possibility that there are more players in the business is not ruled out.
If all goes well, Paulinho will be in Alvalade this Monday night to watch the derby with Benfica.
