Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa began on Tuesday the first round of hearings of the parties on the renewal of the State of Emergency that provides for the closure of borders.

This Tuesday the Liberal Initiative, Chega, Os Verdes, PAN and CDS of Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos were heard, who coincided with the closing of borders and said that the country must return to a confinement similar to that of March and April.

In addition to this change, there is little else to change in the diploma that will have changes for students and teachers with the eventual return of book sales and with likely changes in distance education.

On the right, Chega and the Liberal Initiative criticized the government for the malfunctioning of distance education.

The Greens said they were concerned about health centers, and at the end of the meeting with the President of the Republic, the PAN announced that it had requested a meeting of the Conference of Leaders to adjust the parliamentary work.

“The Assembly must function once a week and remotely in commissions and the number of deputies can be reduced in plenary session,” defended PAN spokesman André Silva.

This Wednesday, the President of the Republic meets with the rest of the parties and the decree will be voted on Wednesday, in Parliament, and must be approved again.
