Romário Baró and Nanu are infected and the next matches of the national champions are lost.

News about the recent covid-19 tests carried out at FC Porto: after staying home, as a precaution, on Wednesday Sérgio Conceição and Matheus Uribe tested negative.

Romário Baró tested positive, as did Nanu. The two players will now fulfill the usual 10-day isolation period and, therefore, they will miss Monday’s match with Farense (I Liga) and the match on the 28th with Gil Vicente, for the quarterfinals of the Portuguese Cup .

Conceição, Uribe and Baró had presented mild symptoms and were evaluated, however, only the FC Porto midfielder ended up seeing the infection confirmed. Nanu, in turn, is also positive, asymptomatic.

Carrying out this test round does not dispense with the usual pre-match round, so the Porto team will continue to be tested again before meeting with Farense. Romário Baró and Nanu join Sérgio Oliveira, Luis Díaz and Evanilson, also isolated, in the losses of this match.

Otávio can now be used, as on Monday he will have completed the 10-day isolation period.

FC Porto takes off this Thursday and goes back to work at Olival on Friday.
