In Portugal, which is once again in general confinement, 9,465 people died out of 581,605 confirmed cases of contagion, according to the latest bulletin from the Directorate General of Health.

Continuous vaccination plan
The vaccination plan against COVID-19 in Portugal began on December 27 in hospitals, covering health professionals, and has already been extended to nursing homes. According to the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health, 106,000 vaccines have already been administered in Portugal.
The first phase of the plan, until the end of March, also covers professionals from the armed forces, security forces and critical services.
