This action by the Portuguese hacker, according to the Penal Code, could carry a prison sentence of up to one year or a fine of up to 120 days.
Article 342, relative to the violation of the secrecy of the count, indicates that “whoever, in an election referred to in paragraph 1 of Article 338, carried out in a secret ballot, violates a legal provision intended to ensure the secrecy of the count, takes Knowing or informing another person of the meaning of a voter’s vote is punishable by imprisonment of up to 1 year or a fine of up to 120 days ”.
