The Ukrainian citizen who claimed to have been attacked and insulted by PSP agents in Vila do Conde, was sentenced to a fine of 450 euros and six months without a license for driving with an alcohol tax of 2.56 g / l.

The defendant, who said he was not driving, was betrayed by a video showing the time of arrest.

The 48-year-old Ukrainian citizen filed a criminal complaint against various elements of the PSP in Vila do Conde, for aggression, persecution and racism. The case occurred in the early morning hours of December 6 of last year. This Friday, video surveillance images showing the time of arrest were displayed in the Vila do Conde Court.

Contrary to what he said, the defendant was at the wheel of a car. He was arrested after collecting an alcohol tax of 2.56 g / l. The images also show the defendant in handcuffs, without violence.

He ended up being sentenced this Friday to a fine of 450 euros, also leaving him without a driving license for six months.

In the courtroom, the Ukrainian citizen insisted on the same thesis. He said he was detained for five hours and had two broken teeth and bruises on his mouth, chest and arms from the attacks. The accusations of aggression and xenophobia continue in another process.
