An illegal New Year’s Eve party with some 2,500 people in northwestern France ended in violent clashes with the police, who were unable to detain event participants, thus increasing concern about the spread of the new coronavirus, this Friday. The authorities.
The party took place in Lieuron, south of Rennes, in the department of Brittany. Many guests were still at the venue when a sanitary cordon was installed at the party.
