The Minister of Health, Marta Temido, made this Tuesday the status of the vaccination against Covid-19 and said that the vaccine has already been administered to 16,701 health professionals.

Vaccination against covid-19 in nursing homes will begin next week in 25 municipalities with an extremely high risk level, where 150 structures have been identified. Marta Temido explained that the priority of vaccination against covid-19 in residences and integrated long-term care units was defined from the risk map. The first to receive the vaccine from Monday, when more doses are expected to arrive in Portugal, are the 150 structures identified in the 25 municipalities with the highest risk.
The Minister of Health guarantees that “no serious reactions were detected with the administration of the vaccine.”
140 health professionals in Viseu refused to be vaccinated against Covid-19. “It is necessary to understand why they chose not to be vaccinated,” says the Minister of Health.
