While the UK hopes to ratify the deal this week, in a vote in the House of Commons scheduled for Wednesday, formal approval by the Council is needed on the European side, but also the approval of the European Parliament, which only It will be pronounced at the beginning of next year, so the new EU-UK partnership will be applied from next Friday on a provisional basis.
