This Saturday, December 26, for the municipalities with very high and extreme risk levels, the prohibition of circulating on public roads begins only at 11:00 p.m. and not at 1:00 p.m., as has happened in recent weekends of week.

This is one of the exceptions to the last state of emergency in force to minimize the impact of the pandemic during the Christmas season. However, as of Sunday, everything returns to normal and more severe restrictions are anticipated from the new year.

In addition, the “general duty of home collection” that exists in municipalities with high, very high and extreme risk of contagion between 05:00 and 23:00 does not apply this Saturday.

In municipalities with very high risk and extreme contagion with the new coronavirus, restaurants can operate for food service in the establishment only until 3:30 p.m.

Despite this relief in the opening hours, the rules that stipulate that the occupation within the establishments must be limited to 50% of the capacity, “or, alternatively, impervious physical barriers will be used to separate the customers who are in front of the front ”, and there is a distance of 1.5 meters between tables.

No more than six people can be seated at the tables, unless they belong to the same household.

Sunday

On Sunday 27, the municipalities of very high and extreme risk will once again have a mandatory curfew from 1 in the afternoon and shops and restaurants will also have to close at that time.

Risk counties

Among the municipalities of very high and extremely high risk are 15 of the 24 of the Miño, namely: Amares, Braga, Barcelos, Caminha, Esposende, Guimarães, Fafe, Famalicão, Monção, Póvoa de Lanhoso, Ponte da Barca, Ponte de Lima, Terras de Bouro, Vieira do Minho and Vila Verde.

On the list of high-risk counties are Cabeceiras de Basto, Celorico de Basto, Valença, Viana do Castelo and Vizela. The rest are at the moderate level.
