Donald Trump spends Christmas in Florida “before the second term begins”

The outgoing president of the United States, Republican Donald Trump, will spend his last term in Palm Beach, Florida, and said he will rest a few days “before the second term begins.”

Trump’s message keeps the gap with reality evident. Less than a month after leaving the White House, the outgoing president still does not recognize the victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the presidential election on November 3 and maintains the thesis of electoral fraud.

It should be remembered that President-elect Biden’s victory has already been ratified by the Electoral College: he obtained the same 306 large voters that Trump won four years ago.

Still, Trump, who is largely isolated by the unfounded charges, upholds allegations of voter fraud, allegedly blamed on a Democratic conspiracy.

All the demands that the president and his candidacy have presented in the US courts have been rejected for lack of evidence and even the leader of the Republican majority in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, has already congratulated Biden on the victory.
