Three clubs notified to demonstrate salary compliance

31 Sports Societies of the I and II League showed that their situations were regularized

La Liga Portugal announced this Friday night that three of the 34 clubs competing in the professional championships in 2020/21 are currently in a scenario of salary delays.

Belenenses SAD, Academic of Viseu and Academic, says the organization, they have until December 31 to demonstrate their salary compliance from September to November 2020.

Liga Portugal informs that 31 Sports Societies – two of which with B teams – fulfilled their obligation to demonstrate, until December 15, the absence of salary debts with players and coaches, referring to the months of September to November. This compliance is a fact to be highlighted and praised, despite the difficult times that the world economy is going through, with the pandemic.

The 31 Sports Societies that proved to have their situation regularized are: Boavista FC, CD Tondela, CD Nacional, FC Famalicão, FC P. Ferreira, FC Porto, Gil Vicente FC, Marítimo M., Moreirense FC, Portimonense, Rio Ave FC, Santa Clara, SL Benfica, SC Braga, Sporting CP, SC Farense, Vitória SC, Casa Pia AC, CD C. Piedade, CD Mafra, CD Feirense, Estoril Praia, FC Arouca, FC Penafiel, FC Vizela, GD Chaves, Leixões SC, SC Covilhã, UD Oliveirense, Vilafranquense and Varzim SC.

In compliance with the provisions of article 78 – A. º of the Portuguese League Competition Regulations, Belenenses SAD, Ac. Viseu and A. Académica until December 31 to demonstrate salary compliance for the months of September to November 2020.
