Twelve districts under yellow warning due to rain and rough seas

SAccording to the information released today by the IPMA, the yellow warning for rain, which will sometimes be strong, will be in force in the districts of Viseu, Porto, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Aveiro and Braga from 6:00 p.m. today and until 03h on Saturday.

Already under yellow warning due to the agitation of the sea, with northwest waves that can reach five meters, the districts of Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, Leiria, Lisbon, Setúbal, Beja and Faro will be in the end of week (West Coast).

In the districts of Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, Leiria and Lisbon, the warning is between 9:00 p.m. today and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

In the districts of Setúbal, Beja and Beja, the notice will go into effect between 6 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. M. From Sunday.

IPMA warnings range from red (the most serious), orange, and yellow. The latter means that there is a risk situation for certain activities depending on the meteorological situation and that the population must monitor the evolution of meteorological conditions.

The IPMA forecasts rainfall today in the North and Central regions, especially in the Miño and Duero coast from the afternoon. The wind will be strongest in the highlands and west coast and there will be morning fog or mist.

Regarding temperatures, the minimums will range between 0º (Bragança) and 11º (Viana do Castelo and Porto) and the maximums between 7º (Guarda) and 17º (Faro).
