SIC News | Voting intentions of the Portuguese: raise PS and lower PSD

[ad_1]

With nine months of management of the pandemic, the Government does not accuse the Portuguese vote of intentions. In the last two months, the PS rose, while the PSD fell, in the ICS / ISCTE survey for SIC and Expresso.

In April, when he gave an interview to the SIC, Rio Rio had the PSD in voting intentions five points behind the PS, which since the elections had been losing. But since then the Socialists have taken off and in the last two months the gap has widened, and now it is 14 points. More than 8.5 that distanced them in the elections.

Since September, the right-wing agreement to rule the Azores may have weighed heavily on the perceptions of voters nationwide. The PS goes up to 39% and the PSD goes down to 25%, the Block maintains 8% and Chega maintains 7%. The CDU recovers one point, the PAN falls to 2%, the CDS maintains 2% and the Liberal Initiative falls to 1%.

This survey was conducted the week prior to the approval of the Budget and before the SEF episode. With a nine-month pandemic, the Government is taking the pressure. Most understand that performance is more positive than negative.

This study was coordinated by ICS and ISCTE. GFK Metris fieldwork was carried out between November 11 and 25 based on 802 direct and personal interviews, considered valid. The maximum margin of error is 3.5%, the confidence level 95%.
