College basketball in the United States was shocked after a serious incident on Saturday when a Florida Gators player collapsed on the field during a game with Florida State.
Keyontae Johnson (21) had scored a basket just before and suddenly began to show signs of weakness. One of the companions still realized the situation, turned his back to ask for help and it was at that moment that Keyontae fell inanimate, to the despair of all those present.
The players were extremely upset by the incident and couldn’t help crying as Keyontae Johnson was assisted and taken off the court.
According to the most recent information released by the Florida Gators, “Keyontae Johnson remains in critical but stable condition at Tallahasee Memorial (hospital).”
Keyontae Johnson, like other teammates, had tested positive for COVID-19 in the summer.
